KPS Consultants' Support Centre of Excellence (CoE) is a high quality alternative to the traditional MSP Programme and PRINCE2 project management recruitment agencies for the procurement and supply of interim PRINCE2 project management/interim managers, MSP programme and PRINCE2 project support staff, resourcing and other such interim manager/management support recruitment needs.

Our Support CoE has been specifically designed for clients who would conventionally approach a programme/project management recruitment agency for their programme or interim PRINCE2 project management recruitment needs such as the supply of interim MSP Managers, interim PRINCE2 project managers or project support office staff/interim resources. KPS Consultants Ltd is not a recruitment agency and does not enlist or head hunt project management staff only when requested to do so by a prospective client on the horizon.

Instead KPS fulfils all client requirements for interim MSP programme or PRINCE2 interim project management recruitment and interim programme/project support staffing using our very own high performance PRINCE2 registered consultants and PRINCE2 practitioners (permanent employees or selected preferred associates). KPS has no intentions of claiming to have thousands of registered project management professionals on its databases from which we can send our clients a hundred CV's to sift through and will leave this business to the professional project management recruitment agencies in the market place if quantity is the key to your programme or project management recruitment needs.

What KPS will do is offer our clients assurance that all KPS Consultants are highly trained, experienced and disciplined performers and can fulfil our clients interim management or interim management support needs for programme/project support or interim project management recruitment and interim manager resourcing needs. In the highly unlikely scenario whereby after a period of time a client is unsatisfied with whom we initially proposed - KPS will offer a substitute interim manager or interim management support consultant. KPS PRINCE2 certified/accredited/registered interim managers and support team undertake all client requirements for interim programme/project resourcing and interim MSP, MoR or PRINCE2 management recruitment needs, either on a long or short term assignment basis, the duration of which is specified by the client and not dictated by KPS through a pre-defined fixed contract duration with a massive financial penalty for change request, pause or cancellation. Ultimately our philosophy is quite simple - to provide what our clients need when they need it.

For Example, if a client has a recruitment requirement for a highly skilled Interim Programme Planner or Project Planner, one of our existing MSP/PRINCE2 accredited project management professionals would fulfil this need. This results in further benefits for the client as not only will they be getting their original requirements met but also the value of having an APMG PRINCE2 registered consultant or PRINCE2 accredited practitioner on board the team, bearing in mind that project planning is only a single component of project management. Additionally full back office support is provided from the rest of our highly experienced team when needed (including Directors and Consultant Mentors).

An Assignment Manager is also provided as a single point of contact for the purpose of raising issues or concerns and also for the active monitoring of our consultants performance and our clients satisfaction during the assignment. The role of the Assignment Manager is usually conducted by a Director or the consultants Mentor within KPS so that you can firstly be assured that action will be taken on issues raised and secondly that there is no need to go through multiple layers of management chain hierarchy or departments to get your desired results. KPS operates a flat structure and the Directors get their hands dirty at all times - KPS wouldn't have it any other way, we love what we do!

The latter is our commitment towards enforcing and promoting Director level advocacy and Senior Responsible Ownership (SRO) in line with OGC industry wide best practice. From our vast experience to date some organisations appear to believe that to be given a senior role is about status and authority alone and often claim they are far too disengaged from various area's of their organisation to be able to help or make a difference - KPS says it isn't about status and they must actively re-engage - all role's serve a defined function to ultimately serve the interests of the programme, project or business regardless of level, title or status.
