There are no pre- requisites for delegates to attend the PRINCE2 Practitioner Training course or PRINCE2 Practitioner Training Solution, but experience of working within a PRINCE2 project will be highly beneficial and recommended. If you have previously undertaken other PRINCE2 courses this will certainly help.

Pre-Course Preparation for PRINCE2 Practitioner Training Courses / Practitioner Training Solutions

PRINCE2 Practitioner courses / PRINCE2 Practitioner Training Solutions are very intensive so it is strongly recommended that you undertake pre-course preparation before attending using the PRINCE2 manual and reading guide, which are provided as part of the PRINCE2 Practitioner course / PRINCE2 Practitioner Training material. These can be sent to you as soon as soon as your payment has been confirmed.

The need for proper preparation cannot be overstated for the PRINCE2 Practitioner level course / training and work done before the course enhances your chance of success in the PRINCE2 Practitioner course exams.

Evening work will be required every night of approx 1-2 hours and you should make sure that you are free of commitments for the entire duration of the course.

Examination Details for PRINCE2 Practitioner Training Courses / Practitioner Training Solutions

The optional PRINCE2 Practitioner Training course exams are in two parts:

The PRINCE2 Foundation exam is an optional 1 hour multiple choice paper with 75 questions, in which you must achieve 50% or get 38 questions correct in order to pass. The exam paper is taken at the end of the third day and marked straight away so that you know your results before leaving. The papers are then sent to The APM Group for checking and certificates are raised for successful candidates.

The PRINCE2 Practitioner course / training exam is a 3 hour open-book, case study with three equally weighted questions on a given scenario. You are expected to show your ability in applying the PRINCE2 method to the given scenario. The PRINCE2 Practitioner course exam paper is taken on last day of training which is usually late Friday morning. After the exam the papers are all returned to The APM Group for marking, which takes approximately 8 weeks. The PRINCE2 Practitioner Certificates are raised for successful candidates. Successful Candidates will also be listed on the APMG Database.
