Pre- Course Preparation for M_o_R Practitioner Courses / M_o_R Practitioner Training Solutions

It is strongly recommended that before attending the M_o_R Practitioner course you undertake pre-course preparation using the M_o_R manual, reading guide, and sample Practitioner exam paperwork. These are provided as part of the course materials and will be dispatched to you as soon as your payment has been confirmed.

The need for proper preparation cannot be overstated and work done before the course will enhance your chance of success in both the M_o_R Foundation and M_o_R Practitioner exams.

During the M_o_R Practitioner course, evening work of at least two hours will be required each night, and you should make sure that you are free of commitments for the entire duration of the course.

Examination Details for M_o_R Practitioner Courses / M_o_R Practitioner Training Solutions

The optional M_o_R examinations are in two parts:

The M_o_R Foundation is an optional 45-minute, multiple-choice paper consisting of between 35 and 45 questions in which you must get 50% correct in order to pass. The paper is taken on the Thursday afternoon at the end of the training and marked straight away so that you know your mark before leaving the course. The papers are sent to the APM Group for checking and certificates are raised for successful candidates.

The M_o_R Practitioner is an optional 3-hour, open-book, case study with two sections. Questions in the first section it will cover how to manage risk at all of the levels within an organisation's management hierarchy. The second section will focus on the application of risk management at specific levels within the management hierarchy. Therefore, should you so choose, you will be able to answer questions in this section relating to the level at which you usually work in your organisation. You will be able to select from a range of questions in each section, but will have to answer questions in each section.

The paper is taken on the Friday morning and the papers are all returned to The APM Group for marking, which takes approximately 8 weeks. You will be advised your results as soon as the information is available. M_o_R Practitioner certificates are raised for successful candidates and M_o_R Foundation certificates are raised for unsuccessful Practitioner candidates to show they have passed at the Foundation level.
