Nish Kotecha finally takes to the sky! Further to the announcement on the 12th August 2007, Nish Kotecha took to the sky today accompanied by KPS Consultants Maya Kotecha and Steve Mills. Images and video will be published on the KPS Gallery soon! Nish flew a four-seater plane from an aerodrome in West London to Silverstone Race Track and also covered Outer and Central London before landing back in West London! Nish Kotecha also received his 1st JAR PPL (Joint Aviation Requirements Private Pilots License) Training Certificate of Achievement which will also be published soon in KPS Recognitions!! Nish Kotecha said 'It has always been something I wanted to do, thanks to the KPS team, I did it!'

RSPCA to be sued by the Divine Bhaktivedanta Manor over death of sacred cow, Gangotri! Peter Ainsworth MP, Shadow Secretary for the Environment visited the temple and issued a statement saying that the RSPCA acted wrongly and the killing should not have happened as it did. read more here.

Bina Vadher, KPS Consultant of the Year 2007 jetted off to Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon for an all expenses paid award presentation (personally by the Managing Director) for an entire week!! Las Vegas is known as the city that never sleeps and so often deemed as being a difficult place to find a hotel that boasts 'serenity' as its key selling point. This wasn't an issue for Bina as she stayed at the elite 5 star diamond resort of Four Seasons with superb wall to wall and floor to ceiling panoramic views of the entire Las Vegas Strip without having to be in the middle of it every day! Words cannot quite describe the breathtaking experience so we have published an initial selection of images with video to follow in the KPS Gallery! Bina finally got to relax with spa therapy, front row seats at the famous O Show in the Bellagio Theater, Las Vegas (where Oceans eleven was filmed), some personal shopping, a helicopter escort to the Grand Canyon with return flight down the entire Las Vegas Strip and much more as the images and video will reveal!! Bill Rhodes of Barleylands Glassworks steps up and beats the KPS project challenge to hand craft Bina Vadher's, KPS Consultant of the Year 2007 plaque in 6 working days! NHS Trust Director re-affirms commitment to KPS Consultants for a second consecutive year (0809) of a long term Framework Agreement! With Nish Kotecha and Maya Kotecha having successfully completed a detailed four hour face to face framework gateway review with the NHS Trust Director on the 4th February 2008, KPS Consultants has received confirmation of continuing with a specialist framework agreement originally established between the NHS Trust and KPS Consultants Ltd on 28th June 2007! As part of the initial set of requirements KPS Consultants has been requested to provide assessment, assurance, role performance monitoring and HR consultancy services. KPS Consultant Maya Kotecha has also been requested to sit on the NHS Trust's HR panel to assess the suitability of potential candidates, specifically with PRINCE2 skills and a number of years of PRINCE2 experience, for the PPSO designed, set up and implemented by Maya Kotecha since June 2007! Maya Kotecha will make her independent, impartial and objective recommendations directly to the NHS Trust Director. Additionally, the NHS Trust Director has also confirmed a request for the continued involvement of KPS Consultant Gemini Gohil, albeit now with a higher level PRINCE2 consultancy and PPM assurance remit as opposed Interim Management! As with Maya Kotecha, Gemini Gohil has also been requested to report directly and only to an NHS Trust Director in order to maintain an impartial, independent, honest and objective view in the best interests of the NHS Trust!!

Maya Kotecha was one of the first delegates worldwide to undertake the new MSP Refresh syllabus back in October 2007!! To obtain Maya Kotecha's personal views on the new MSP 2007 refresh syllabus please feel free to contact Maya through our office. View Maya Kotecha's MSP Practitioner certificate here. Please note however that from a quality perspective, whilst the certificate provided by the APMG states that the MSP Sphere logo is a trademark of the Office of Government Commerce (OGC), the certificate does not in fact have the MSP sphere logo on it but instead the OGC's new MSP swirl logo which there is no mention of!!! One would think the latter is potentially a breach of OGC's IPR and a Non-Conforming Product (NCP) in accordance with the UKAS ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management Standard! Additionally there is no UKAS certification logo which does appear on earlier APMG Accreditation certificates!

For the purpose of clarification and decision making, KPS Consultants Ltd had requested written confirmation of the relationship between the APM and APMG with a prompt response received from the APM on 09/01/08. APM's response clearly emphasised complete autonomy of the two organisations. Part of the statement provided was 'The Association for Project Management (APM) is a registered charity and independent professional body dedicated to the development of programme and project management science, theory and practice. APM Group (APMG) is a former commercial subsidiary of the association, and has been a privately owned commercial company since 2000.' It is on receiving this statement that KPS Consultants' Board of Directors committed to supporting, working with, and partnering directly with the APM.

Post discussion with executive's from KPS Consultants client base and all employees, KPS Consultants Ltd has formally and voluntarily served notice of termination to the APMG (APM Group Ltd) for subscription to the APMG ACO and RC scheme. Amongst many other reasons, the APMG was suspended as a UKAS accreditation and certification body by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) on 12th October 2007 after APMG were audited by UKAS in June 2007. Gemini Gohil goes from strength to strength by achieving an amazing 84% elevated pass mark on the Principles of Change Management syllabus and exams which she completed on 23rd November 2007. We have always followed the core concepts of the standard but receiving this plaque truly is cream on the cake! Steve Mills, MCP, CompTIA A+ from Consultant to KPS Consultant!! After a thorough screening process of all candidates whom applied to become a KPS Consultant during the Q2 0708 screening period KPS Consultants Ltd was unable to select a suitable candidate whom met our current requirements and criteria. As a result the board of directors decided to make an existing part time consultant, full time. Steve Mills, a Microsoft Certified Professional and CompTIA A+ Certified Professional will be joining KPS Consultants on a full time basis and brings a wealth of IT experience ranging Windows Server, Exchange platforms, Sharepoint and many NHS Systems to name only a few. Incidentally, Steve Mills has a very close relationship with KPS Consultants' Managing Director as they both went to school together many years ago! Steve will be responsible for all internal IT related activities and participate in client IT Development Projects, EDRM Solutions and other such similar assignments. Steve Mills will also play a significant role in the pursuit of KPS Consultants ITIL and Microsoft Certified Partner Strategic objectives over time. KPS Consultants' Maya Kotecha is very pleased to confirm that Stage two of the NHS PPSO (Implementation, Launch and Delivery) is now complete. An ESA (End Stage Assessment) for stage two was held with key stakeholders with approval from the Project Board to proceed to the final stage three of the project (Management, Resourcing, Recruitment and Training) to be followed by a final ESA, Lessons Learned activities, Customer Acceptance, Project Archiving and a PPR (Post Project Review). In Conjunction with the NHS all existing projects have been identified during stage two and the PPSO has already begun supporting these in accordance with mechanisms designed at stage one. All new and existing projects will use the services of the newly established NHS PPSO based on the principles and processes of OGC's best practice PRINCE2 methodology. KPS Consultants vision is to now support our NHS client in rapidly increasing their P2MM Level (PRINCE2 Maturity Model) prior to Maya Kotecha conducting P2MM Assessments, Interviews and Accreditation activities. Of course OGC's MSP and M_o_R methods are also being utilised as part of the longer term 'Maturity Road Map'. KPS Consultants have already begun discussing Programme Management in accordance with OGC's MSP and Management of Risk in accordance with OGC's M_o_R which have been welcomed with open arms by the NHS, the latter demonstrates an NHS SRO (Senior Responsible Owner) level ongoing commitment to OGC best practice and maturity advancements. After a successful Project Board Meeting today with the NHS comprising the Project Executive (NHS), Senior Users (NHS), Senior Supplier (KPS Consultants) and Business Management (NHS) in addition to the completion of End Stage Assessment (ESA) activities for stage 1 of the NHS PPSO project, KPS Consultants is very pleased to announce that the NHS PPSO will be formally launched tomorrow the 22nd August 2007 as part of the NHS PPSO Delivery and Implementation (Stage 2). Maya Kotecha of KPS Consultants will be conducting launch briefing sessions from tomorrow for several of our NHS colleagues to serve as an introduction to the new services the PPSO will offer to the NHS PPM Community and to highlight the benefits the PPSO will bring to the NHS. PPSO service fulfillment is expected to commence immediately though another ESA is planned towards the end of stage 2. The project is still 100% on schedule with zero breach of the project boards set tolerances. The NHS has also requested for KPS Consultants to undertake the role of Head of PPSO owing to their confidence in KPS Consultants' PPM skills and capabilities framework. KPS Consultants' Bina Vadher formally received her award as KPS Consultant of the Year 2006. However the award was not presented in a conference centre in Germany as per the original announcement below. Nish Kotecha, KPS Consultants MD felt that Bina Vadher (along with the team) deserved a more unique and memorable event. As a result the KPS Consultant of the year 2006 award was presented to Bina Vadher at a place that truly reflected her superior and elevated performance, namely at the summit of Mount Zugspitze (Austrian side by cable car), at a height of almost 3000 metres as we looked down at the clouds!!! The MD had personally jetted the entire team off firstly to Germany and then escorted them on to Austria (Mount Zugspitze), the absolutely lovely country of Liechtenstein, then on to Switzerland (Zurich), and all places in between as the MD wanted the team to experience the true beauty of europe's wonderful landscapes. Finally the team headed back to Germany where a dinner party had been arranged for the MD much to his surprise!! KPS Consultants presented the MD with a voucher to begin certified pilot training! KPS Consultants Maya Kotecha completes Stage 1 (setup) of a PPSO within the NHS in under four weeks! Delivery is currently 100% on schedule. Stage 1 included requirements capture, solutions design, preparation and operational assessments. Fundamentally Stage 1 was focused on the architecture mapped to the needs of the NHS and their current business processes. Needless to say the PPSO Solution Project itself being provided to the NHS is managed using PRINCE2! Maya is currently undertaking end stage assessment activities before proceeding to stage 2 however approval of the business case and authorisation to continue with the PPSO project has been granted by the NHS. In addition to this KPS Consultants have also delivered an M_o_R Workshop and PRINCE2 Workshop for the NHS within the same four weeks! The NHS has been tremendously supportive, understanding and are very clued up on OGC best practice methodology already! Indeed Maya Kotecha has been working closely with existing PRINCE2 Practitioners and senior management from within the NHS and will continue to do so.

This news couldn't have come to us at a better time with the APMG best practice showcase 2007 having completed successfully only yesterday and the new british prime minister Gordon Brown also being sworn in near to the QEII Centre as KPS Consultants observed and filmed the events, along with the BBC, and in full high definition! KPS Consultants will provide the NHS with a range of consultancy support, services and solutions spanning all of our centres of excellence capabilities. Capabilities to be provided include but are not limited to P2MM Assessment services, P2MM Accreditation Solutions, PPSO Solutions, Workshops, Mentoring and Training solutions as part of a long term framework agreement for consultancy and transformation. KPS Consultants has received numerous enquiries regarding the Institute of Business Consulting (IBC) activities, we hope this brief update clarifies our current level of involvement and position. KPS Consultants has firstly been requested to provide assistance to the Institute of Business Consulting (IBC) audit of the APMG (APM Group) to be conducted by the International Council of Management Consulting Institutes (ICMCI) to take place on the 29th June 2007. KPS Consultants Managing Director has volunteered Maya Kotecha to partake in the audit and provide the auditing assistance as requested by the IBC. Maya Kotecha, on behalf of KPS Consultants, will provide independent comments and views to the ICMCI auditor on the accreditation process undertaken by the APMG during the award of the Certified Management Consultant (CMC) status by the APM Group. Secondly, KPS Consultant Maya Kotecha has been invited to stand for / partake in the forthcoming nominations for regional chair and/or member of the IBC National Council or IBC Regional Councils. Whilst KPS Consultants is honoured to have received this invitation, Maya Kotecha is currently focused on client programmes and projects based on OGC Best Practice Management products. KPS Consultants has therefore had to decline the latter invitation from the IBC on this occasion.

This excellent news comes not within Nish Kotecha's 16 day challenge but instead within 10 days! Maya Kotecha reports 'this was one of the toughest challenges to have accomplished based on the limited timescale's given by Nish Kotecha and the sheer quantity of activities involved, however i didn't want to only meet Nish's challenge but exceed it. By doing so, we as a team, have proven that when KPS Consultants are involved mission impossible quite simply becomes mission possible! The challenge was accomplished by virtue of real team work, perfect scheduling, project planning, execution with zero tolerance, superb support from the awarding body, assessor, panel and of course the absolutely excellent contribution and support from our consultants whom were also independently and individually interviewed by the awarding authority'

The formal award ceremony of the plaque is yet to be undertaken and requires further time based on the presence of the local press. KPS Consultants' Bina Vadher formally receives the certificate as an MSP Registered Practitioner (Managing Successful Programmes) today. Bina Vadher's qualifications and status to date include being an ACO Consultant (employed by KPS Consultants Ltd), PRINCE2 Registered Practitioner, MSP Registered Practitioner and an Associate of the Institute of Business Consulting (IMC as it was known previously). Bina Vadher has not only achieved the status of becoming an MSP Registered Practitioner but has done so in great style yet again, but then what's new! Bina Vadher's results are certain to be amongst the highest of percentage marks worldwide.

Bina has not only passed the MSP foundation with an astounding 92% but also passed the MSP intermediate and MSP Practitioner level described as being 'highly elevated results'. Consultant Screening Period Q4 0607: KPS Consultants Ltd has received and reviewed approximately 600 applications to become a KPS Consultant, thank you to all applicants. From these, KPS short listed 200 potential candidates who we felt had excellent credentials, experience and skills. 10 absolutely superb candidates made it to 'KPS Interview stage-level 1'. From those 10 there were 6 we thought had the traits/hallmarks of a KPS Consultant and so proceeded to 'KPS Interview stage-level 2'. Out of those final 6, one became a 'KPS Consultant' and was hired immediately on the spot.

Whilst KPS Consultants are able to offer a CTI Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) and/or an ICF Associate Certified Coach to provide executive coaching services, life coaching and leadership coaching services as previously stated. The Management Board of KPS have taken a unanimous decision at the MRM (Management Review Meeting) held on 6th March 2007 which was based on research conducted as part of our PIP (Performance Improvement Programme) including peers, clients, potential clients and KPS Consultants/employees. The findings clearly indicated a preference for KPS Consultants Ltd to maintain its current business growth strategy and model based on best practice PPM capabilities and that KPS should continue to focus on providing specialist M_o_R/MSP/PPM/PRINCE2 Mentoring and Coaching services as opposed to introducing executive coaching, life coaching or leadership coaching as a new primary capability. With this in mind the KPS Services CoE will now not have executive coaching, life coaching or leadership coaching added as a core capability at this current time. KPS will review the situation again at some later stage should further research and the situation / demand for these coaching services change. Thank you so much to all those whom provided such prompt feedback at short notice as it helps KPS to better understand what direction clients, potential clients and employees wish to see KPS take. KPS is after all a company incorporated to serve the longer term needs and interests of our clients and employees/consultants, not the shorter term needs of our shareholders/investors.
