KPS Consultants and the IBC Code of Conduct
As an IBC Recognised Practice KPS Consultants follow the IBC Code of Conduct.
Whilst Meeting Client Requirements, KPS Consultants:
- Regard client requirements and interests as paramount.
- Only accept work which we are competent to do.
- Agree in advance the scope, nature and deliverables of the work to be undertaken.
- Only subcontract work in agreement with the client.
- Respect the confidentiality of all client information.
- Practice due care in relation to advice given.
- Ensure appropriate levels of communication with the client.
- Act with courtesy and consideration towards our clients.
Working with Integrity, Independence and Objectivity,
As an IBC Recognised Practice KPS Consultants will:
- Disclose as soon as possible, any relationship, circumstances or business interests which may influence or impair an assignment unless agreed with the client.
- Unless agreed with the client, not work on an assignment which may create a conflict of interest.
- Unless agreed with the client, not accept, nor give any inducements relating to work undertaken.
- Unless agreed with the client, not use any confidential information about client affairs outside the scope of the assignment.
- Remain objective throughout the assignment.
Maintaining Responsibility to the Profession and to Institute of Business Consulting (IBC),
As an IBC Recognised Practice KPS Consultants will:
- At all times endeavour to enhance the standing and public recognition of the profession and the Institute of Business Consulting (IBC) through annual affirmation of the Code of Conduct.
- Comply with Institute of Business Consulting (IBC) requirements on continuing professional development.
- Maintain its professional obligations to others.
- Negotiate agreements and charges in accordance with Institute of Business Consulting (IBC) ethical standards.
- Exercise due care in relation to publicity.
- Be fit and proper as defined by Institute of Business Consulting (IBC) to be a management consultant.
- Be of good reputation and of character.
- Not wilfully give Institute of Business Consulting (IBC) any false, misleading or incomplete information.
Ethical Guidelines,
In adopting the Institute of Business Consulting (IBC) Code of Conduct KPS Consultants will adopt the ethical guidelines by ensuring:
- Transparency in our dealings with all stakeholders ensuring that we are as open as circumstances allow
- That we take account of the vulnerability of all stakeholders in relation to any work undertaken.
