Legibility on this Site

If you are experiencing problems with legibility, or you find that this site is uncomfortable to read, you may wish to consider changing to a larger font.

Choosing a larger font size will mean that pages will be delivered to you with larger text, which will be easier to read.

The text size can be modified by clicking on the icons at the top each page, these have the following values:

Note that this text resizing works independently of a browser's built-in text resizing, and is optimized to display our pages without problems of text legibility, overflow and wrapping. You can still use the browser resize function, but if exceptionally large or small fonts are used the page readability may be affected.

If you need to resize the text to a very large text size using a browsers built-in resizing, it may be better to switch to text view first to avoid the above issues.

Page Zoom Function

You can also zoom in and out of any of our sites pages to enhance legibility to suit your needs. This can be done by:

pressing and holding down the control key on the keyboard then pressing '+' or '-' a number of times as required.

By using the page zoom function you may subsequently need the use of the keyboards right and left arrow keys to scroll right and left respectively. Similarly, the up and down arrow keys can be used in the same way.
